Business Development Manager (Professional Hairdressing Scissors) (Locations: Los Angeles, CA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; New York, NY) Tweezerman International’s products have long been recognized in the beauty industry as premium brand surpassing the normal standards of quality, reliability and service. Based in New York, Tweezerman is world market leader in the high-class segment of beauty and grooming implements for all needs including lashes, brows, manicure and pedicure. Since the end of 2004, the company is part of Zwilling J.A. Henckels Group. Tweezerman is about to launch the Jaguar brand of Professional Hairdressing products in the United States. Jaguar is a Germany based company and the biggest manufacturer of Professional Hairdressing Scissors worldwide. Jaguar Professional Hairdressing Scissors are a favorite of professionals in more than 80 countries worldwide. This position would develop distribution and sales of Jaguar Professional products and would be a direct report of Tweezerman’s Director of Professional Sales Responsibilities include: • Develop new as well as manage existing customers in connection with travelling • Target customers who are sharpeners as well as small distributors within the professional hairdressing industry • Provide education and continuous updates to customers and support selling efforts • Organize industry shows including traveling to, setting up and choosing product range • Recruit and train show team • Develop after sales service concept, e.g. sharpening service Requirements: • Professional hairdressing industry experience preferred • Must be entrepreneurial and a self-motivated go-getter • Strong organization and communication skills The candidate should be entrepreneurial and passionate about beauty brands and products. He/she needs to be a self-motivated and a go-getter with an outgoing, winning personality. He/she needs to be able to travel within the US. Our preferred candidate would have experience in the professional beauty industry.
